Happy Mothers Day!

Happy Mother’s day! A day to celebrate the woman in your life that has taken care of you since day one! I know for me it has always been a day that I take to spend time with my mother. But I at least try to message others in my life who have giving me that motherly love also. I spend a lot of time talking about the ‘core family’ when working with my clients, but those who many not be in your immediate circle can still have a large impact on your child’s life. There are many of us who still today cherish our kindergarten teachers, neighbors, or even our parent’s close friends. These women should be celebrated today as well. It takes a village to raise a child and without these women in our lives some days would’ve not seemed possible.

I hope today was a day to remember the mothers before us, who have done way more with less. We can only hope that we become half a good as our mothers. Have a wonderful day!
